Watsonville, Santa Cruz California- January 2004- Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP and Codiga & Elward, Inc., certified public accounting firms, have merged accounting practices. The combination will allow the firms to provide expanded services to their clients. The combined firm will operate under the name Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP and should rank as Santa Cruz County's largest CPA firm with 14 CPA's and a total staff of 28 personnel.

This combination of talent and expertise will present our clients with more of what they've always looked to us for - trusted advice and timely, quality service," said Michael W. Machado, CPA, managing partner of Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP. "In addition, we'll offer our clients additional services through the specialized talents of each firm," he added.
