We work hard to make sure that we fully understand our client’s objectives and we're adding value."  While growing up in Denmark, Hanne LeLoup often browsed through travel brochures, dreaming of living in California. When she immigrated at 21, she gravitated toward accounting largely because numbers were universal, and her English wasn't yet completely fluent. Now, with that obstacle far behind her, Hanne finds that the things she enjoys most about her career are meeting different people, and helping them solve problems.

With close to 20 years of accounting experience, Hanne started out in private industry where she gained seven years of experience, in the wind industry, accounting and reporting for multiple US subsidiaries of a Danish Holding Company.   She joined Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP in January 2001 when the firm merged with Logan Throop & Co., LLP, where Hanne was the Director of Financial Reporting Services. She was named Partner and elected to Chair the Firm’s Accounting and Auditing Committee in October 2008.  

Hanne specializes in financial reporting, designing accounting systems and procedures (including coaching and evaluating team members), designing and implementing customized financial forecasting models, and business valuations.  Hanne has both domestic and foreign clients and she works closely with our affiliate member firms of PKF International around the world solving client reporting and auditing needs.  In addition to expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, she has expertise in applying International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as International Auditing Standards.

While Hanne works with a variety of closely-held businesses, she has extensive experience with the following industries:  Hi-Tech, Software, Distribution Companies and Development Stage Entities.

Hanne completed the Executive MBA program at San Diego State University in 2002 and received her accreditation in Business Valuation in 2007.   As a Certified Public Accountant, she is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  

Even with her often hectic schedule, she makes sure she carves out quality time with her family.  Hanne and her family enjoy traveling together, ocean kayaking, reading and great food.
